APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

      Any person who desires to become an odinary member, Associate Member or life member of the
       Association shall submit a formal Application to the Secretary in the Application Form as
       Prescribed below.

MEMBERSHIP

ODINARY MEMBERSHIP

      1).Odinary membership shall be opened to all adult persons of at least 21 years of age who are of
        Gujarati origin and professing Hinduism/Jainism and residing or having a place of work in Wilayah
        Persekutuan and Selangor.

2).All the members of the family of an odinary member may be entitled to participate in such
activities organised by the Association.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

      1). Associate membership shall be opened to any adult person of at least of 21 years of age and is
       married to a Gujarati person professing Hindusim/Jainism and residing or having a place of work in
       Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor.

2). Associate membership shall also be opened to any adult person of Gujarati origin professing
Hindusim/Jainism and residing outside Wilayah Persekutuan and Selangor.

      3). Associate Members shall be entitled to the same rights and privileges as odinary members
       except that Association Members shall not serve on the Management Committee nor have voting
       rights. All the members of the family of an associate member may be entitled to participate in such
       activities organised by the Association.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION AND CONTRIBUTION

      1). With the exception of Honorary Members, each member shall also pay and annual subscription
       of Ringgit Malaysia Thirty (RM30.00) or may elect to pay a one-time life subscription of
       Ringgit Malaysia Eight Hundred (RM800.00).

      2). In addtion to the annual subscription above, every member representing their respective
       immediate family members shall also contribute an annual contribution of a minimun of
       Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred Fifty One (RM151.00). In any case where the members are
       expatriates, an addtional sum of Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred (RM100.00) shall also be
       collected subject to rule No.3 below. Such contribution shall be utilised to defray the expenses of
       the Association and to finance the annual activities of the Association.

      3). The Management Committee shall be empowered to review the above minimum amount for
       contribution from the time to time taking into account the extent of the Association's annual
       expenditures.

ENTRANCE FEE

Each person who is admitted as a member (with the exception of Honorary Member) shall pay an
entrance fee of Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred (RM100.00)

With immediate effect the Samaj will not publish it's DIRECTORY on the website. Should anyone require any update on the directory, members are requested to make official request to the Secretary, Mr. DIPAK DAMANI and on approval, a softcopy in the pdf format will be e-mailed to the person requested the DIRECTORY UPDATE.
